MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Leading and managing overall security and fire safety within Gopalpur Industrial Park. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, fire, and security regulations, developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and managing emergency response plans.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Security of Industrial Park

Providing strategic and operational leadership in security and fire safety. Maintain law and order within Premises.

Developing and implementing security policies, fire safety programs, and training. Conducting security and fire risk assessments, audits, and inspections.

Leading and supervising security personnel and fire safety teams, often working 24/7.

Managing crisis situations and acting as a key decision-maker during emergencies.

Investigate security breaches and initiate disciplinary and legal action associated with such breaches as necessary.

Overseeing installation and maintenance of surveillance, fire alarms, CCTV, and other security equipment.

Preparing detailed reports and statistics related to security and fire incidents.

Disaster Management Plan based on the prevailing hazards and their mitigation plan.

Ensure authorized entry of Man, Material and Vehicle.

Coordinating with member industries and conduct Emergency response team meeting.

Ensuring protection of staff, visitors, assets, and premises against theft, fire, and other hazards.

Implementation of Statutory compliances related to Fire, and Security.

Ensuring office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained.

Ensure availability of services of fooding, lodging and boarding of guests and employees on approval and monitor bill processing on time

Prepare and conduct of events on as and when required and facilitate VVIP movement.

Monitoring closely the budget for Security.

Liaisoning & Coordination with Stakeholders, Management and Vendor Management

Liaison with Local police/ DSP/SP  for safe & secure operation of Industrial park.

Manage, develop and sustain cordial relationship with stakeholders

Formulate, Evaluate, checkout and modify the safety & security strategy as and when necessary and submit investigation report of all loss /accident-related incidents to the Management.

Coordination with the security vendor for selection, training and supervision of the guard force deployed to perform day to day security activities.

Monitoring the Security System of Industrial Park, liasoning with Security Vendor for maintain with proper Security systems at Industrial park and project office etc.

Adhering to the Statutory Compliances

Drive security vendor to comply statutory audits and track performance regularly through dash boards.

Manage daily security operations to check compliance policies. Review and periodic audit of records generated by security department.

Ensure compliances of all statutory requirements pertaining to safety & security of Industrial Park, and liaison with Govt. Safety Inspectorate and other law & enforcement agencies for official purpose.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 10-20 years’ relevant experience in Security Domain.
• Preferably Gazetted-cum-Commissioned Officer from Military/Paramilitary or State Police.
• Education: Graduation / Post-Graduation degree in any discipline
• Should have good understanding of Fire Safety and Security rules and regulations, liasioning skills, stakeholder management skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills.
