Industrial Infrastructure

Water:

The water supply infrastructure available within the Gopalpur Industrial Park, includes multiple reservoirs and a natural creek with access to 7 million litres per day (MLD) of surface water. Govt. of Odisha through Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) is working towards the supply of water from the nearby Rushikulya river and other perennial sources.

The industrial park also has provisions of setting up a desalination plant and a common effluent treatment plant (CETP).

Power:

Gopalpur Industrial Park boasts a robust power infrastructure, featuring a 220/33 KV substation within its premises. This substation ensures a reliable power supply, provided at 33KV voltage levels. With this advanced infrastructure in place, industries within the park have access to uninterrupted electricity, essential for their operations.

Government authorities at the central and state-level are currently working towards the creation of new power infrastructure - a 765/400 KV Central Transmission Utility (CTU) and a 400/220 KV State Transmission Utility (STU).

Utility Corridor:

The dedicated corridor for transporting materials between Gopalpur Port and Gopalpur Industrial Park is currently under construction by the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO). This corridor aims to significantly reduce the distance between the industrial park and the port, cutting it down from 14 kilometers to just 2.5 kilometers. It will provide a dedicated right-of-way (RoW) specifically designed for the transportation of liquid and gaseous materials. This infrastructure development holds the potential to streamline logistical operations, enhance efficiency, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the region's industrial sector.

Road:

The Industrial Park benefits from excellent road connectivity, which are designed with varying right-of-way widths, including 60 meters for trunk roads, 45 meters for arterial roads, and 35 meters and 25 meters for sub-arterial roads. This supports efficient logistics and transportation for businesses operating within the area.

Stormwater Drainage:

Stormwater drainage systems are crucial for managing excess rainwater and groundwater, preventing flooding and erosion within the park. These systems efficiently collect and channel surface runoff from roads and land plots to reservoirs, ensuring a safe and sustainable environment. By integrating advanced drainage solutions, we promote ecological balance and infrastructure resilience.

Boundary Wall:

The security of the Park is ensured by a robust reinforced concrete (RCC) boundary wall, standing at a height of 4 meters. This barrier stretches over a length of 24 kilometres, effectively enclosing the park and providing a secure perimeter. The boundary wall serves to safeguard the premises, offering protection and privacy to the industries and facilities within.

Office Space:

Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Limited provides a unique solution for businesses seeking temporary occupancy or immediate commencement of operations within the Gopalpur Industrial Park. Beneath its main gate complex, office spaces are available for such customers. This offering enables businesses to quickly establish a presence within the industrial park, benefiting from the prime location and infrastructure provided by Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Limited.

Skilled Manpower:

The Industrial Park benefits from a skilled manpower pool provided by the J N Tata Technical Education Centre, in partnership with the Nettur Technical Training Foundation. This collaboration offers tailored industry-specific courses aimed at skill development. The industrial park gains access to a workforce equipped with the necessary expertise and training to meet the demands of various sectors operating within the park.
