Senior Manager, HRM & TQM

 

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Must have sound knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements. Strong
interpersonal negotiation and communication skills. Problem solving ability and conflict management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems, (SAP/HRMS) preferred.
Hands-on experience with contract labor and statutory liaisoning.

KEY ACTIVITIES

 

 

 

 

HR Compliance (Vendor)

To Verify contractor wage sheets for compliance with Minimum Wages Act as
submitted by the vendor.

Ensure timely payment of wages by the vendor
partner to contract workmen as per statutory timelines.

Monitor deductions (PF, ESI, professional tax) for accuracy by the vendor.

Ensure maintenance of wage registers and
records as per Payment of Wages Act by the vendor partner for Leave, Overtime, Bonus etc.

Ensure the active gate pass for all workmen entering to the Gopalpur Industrial Park in collaboration with User, Safety, and Security department.

 

 

 

 

Industrial Relations (IR)

Maintain cordial and productive relations between management and workforce.

Handle disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries
and grievance redressal procedures.

Training and awareness to the contract workmen for their rights as per the Labor Laws.

Liaise with Labor Department, PF, ESI and other government authorities.

Ensure all statutory licenses and compliance with labor laws are updated from vendor side.

Ensure maintenance of all statutory registers and record related to labor compliance by the vendor.

Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to labor laws and company HR policies by the vendor

 

 

Compliance & Audit

Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to labor laws and company HR policies by all vendor partners.

Maintain accurate and updated HR & compliance documentation for inspections and audits.

Support corporate HR during external and internal audits.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Should have minimum 3 years working experience.
  • Postgraduate in Management (preferably in HR)/IRPM from a reputed University. Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems (SAP/ HRMS preferred). Preference to candidate with Legal Background.
  • Should possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills, networking and liaisoning skills.
  • Should have good understanding of labor laws.
