MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• Ensuring water management of Gopalpur Industrial Park which includes Supervision of daily operations of water/wastewater treatment plants and distribution/disposal systems to ensure 100% water availability at customer end.
• Plan & take up maintenance jobs of plant, piping and distribution network, manage, train, and evaluate staff, Oversee the preventive and emergency maintenance program and
• Ensure monitoring of upcoming water treatment project, Desalination project etc.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Daily Operations: 100% Availability of Raw water and treated water to customers.

• Ensure smooth operation and 95% availability of WTP.
• Ensure quality assurance of water.
• Inventory management for Operational Water treatment plants and distribution network.

• Plan and execute maintenance jobs

• Plan & take up maintenance jobs of plant piping and distribution network
• Oversee the preventive and emergency maintenance program.
• Implement strategies to reduce operational costs, such as chemical and energy use, while maintaining quality.

• Achievement of project milestone.

• Planning, execution, and operation of large-scale water treatment projects, seawater desalination, CETP, and related systems.
• Ensure enablers are in place for vendors in projects.
• Daily/weekly Review meetings with vendors to complete projects within time and cost with 100% safety and quality.

• Statutory Compliances

• 100% compliance against all statutory, environmental, legal, and safety requirements.

• Manpower Management

• Manage, train, and evaluate staff; implement and enforce plant safety and risk management programs.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES

• Must have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience, in water and wastewater project execution and/or Operation & Maintenance, design & engineering, having in depth process knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant.
• Experience in large sea water desalination project execution or Operation & Maintenance will be added advantage.
• Experience of executing any CETP Project with a capacity more than 250 m3/hr will have added advantage.
• Process knowledge of WTP, CETP, Sea water Membrane Desalination, UF, Sewage treatment, in depth knowledge of water chemistry is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of civil construction, electrical and instrumentation installations and operation will be an added advantage.
• Awareness courses of Industrial safety and Environmental sustainability may have added advantage.
• Should have good communication and interpersonal skills, presentation skills. Should have knowledge of SAP, MS Office etc.
